Job role

 

     Your will be leading a team of talented Life actuaries in business steering and transformation projects deliveries towards Allianz OEs based on the Western European insurance market.

 

What you will do

 

  •      Lead, develop and engage the actuarial team in achieving the established goals.
  •      Actively manage the projects from an actuarial technical perspective both in quarterly/annual Solvency II and IFRS17 valuations, assumption reviews, planning dialogue and in actuarial modelling/studies.
  •       Drive the transformation of actuarial processes
  •       Steer team capacity and prioritize subjects, delegate and control deliveries.
  •      Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, actively targeting to bring in new business.

 

What you bring

 

  •      Ideally proven 1+ years’ experience in managing/leading teams and/or projects
  •      Prior actuarial experience with life and health products.
  •      Knowledgeable of Solvency II, IFRS17.
  •      Excellent customer oriented skills, strong organizational, planning and structuring skills 
  •      Ability to multi-task, be flexible, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  •      Strong inter-personal skills and ability to build collaborative working relationship with different stakeholders.
  •      Strong coaching skills to develop the capabilities of junior team members
  •      MSc in Actuarial Sciences or Finance.
  •      Ability to work under tight deadline and self-motivate.

  •      Ability to build strong working relationships and ability to convey complex information to peers/ partners .
  •      Strong teamwork ethic, solid interpersonal and listening skills, ability to apply independent judgement and strive for win-win situations. 
  •      Ability to motivate and engage with new potential customers and other stakeholders and conclude new partnerships.
  •      Fluent in English, with good communication skills.
