Join us as a Senior Communications Strategy Consultant based in Jakarta with remote work flexibility at PR Newswire, a Cision company.
Engage in client and sales discussions, leveraging your content creation and writing expertise to drive content strategy in the APAC region.
Enhance media impact and business outcomes across online, social, and outdoor channels.
Collaborate with global stakeholders to develop compelling narratives, embodying our inclusive culture and international perspective to craft impactful content strategies.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work with Sales colleague to conduct consultation sessions with clients  
  • Develop content strategies for clients.  Produce engaging content to help clients achieve their business objectives. 
  • Regularly engage with journalists and influencers to establish and maintain good relations 
  • Pitch client content to key media to maximize editorial pickup and amplify across channels.  
  • Create analysis reports for clients showing results of media pickup, distribution and engagement metrics, and analyses/recommendations.  
  • Actively deepen client relationships to improve customer retention and engagement. 
  • Provide regular internal training to provide an update on the Communications Strategy Department’s developments and activities  

  • Desired Skills and Experience:
  • University degree or higher qualification
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Minimum 4 years of PR experience (in-house, agency, or media/journalism)
  • Extensive content creation and writing background, journalism experience preferred
  • Solid grasp of marketing and communication strategies, adept at digital and offline channels
  • Familiarity with the media landscape; established local media and influencer network a bonus
  • Creative problem-solver with strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and customer-centric
