ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This leadership role is key in driving world-class, customer centric service delivery and growth in our Digital Radiography (DR) and Ultrasound (US) Service lines. Responsible for leading DR/US service initiatives and strategies to improve purchased services control, customer satisfaction, service delivery, and driving service revenue. Pivots between headquarters, internal staff, suppliers, and field engineers, to ensure efficient and successful operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assignedResponsible for DR/US service initiatives, strategies, and processes to improve shared services control, material productivity, customer satisfaction, and service deliveryManage employees and operations of the Field Service Employees (FSEs), Depot Employees and Dealer networkWork with DR/US sales team to develop “win-win” strategies to capture incremental DR/US service business and retain existing DR/US service contractsWork with the DR/US Business Development Managers, Technical Service Operations leadership, and field engineers to coordinate and implement service contracts and support noncontract revenue growthResponsible for national service P&L and drive to achieve revenue and margin goals.Build strong relationships with customers, BDMs and dealer network, creating and reinforcing customer satisfactionPromote teamwork, communication, and influence others to achieve business results, driving revenue and creative non-contract revenue programsPromote the use of internal support resources, third party service providers and other subject matter experts, champion escalations, and coordination of necessary resources for speedier resolution of DR service delivery issuesTravel nationally is required by the business, with the expectation of 70% Travel / 30% Home officeAble to conduct professional presentations to customers utilizing PowerPoint, or other presentation programsManage parts consumption and usage, and approval mechanisms to control material costs, either as a shared service, or as a direct leader ofManage time effectively; prioritize and make good business judgments and decisions in relationship to efficiency, effectiveness Ensure escalations are managed and corrected quickly and professionallyEstablish goals and objectives for all FSEs and review performance against operating plans and standards Identify training needs, initiate development of subordinates and recommend effective personnel action
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study required, MBA a plus10+ years of experience in an operations leadership role in diagnostic imaging and/or Ultrasound Services.
