Your missions

Role: AWS Redshift SME
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: Long Term
Work Hours: US Time
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote Candidates can work from anywhere in India)

Scope of Work:

Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) has multiple AWS Redshift environments for data analytics development and running production workloads. The work defined is to perform in-depth analysis of the Redshift cluster configuration and workloads and optimize them.

Deliverables:

Analyze EDP production cluster and identify top workloads and queries
Define optimization steps for workloads and run them
- Review table structures, keys and joins
- Run vacuum analyze on table
- Adjust join criteria as required
Identify cluster parameters that need to be updated
- Run workload on different configurations
- Design parameters to reduce cost and query run times
