Job Description

This entry-level Sourcing Buyer / Analyst role will manage various aspects of the MasterBrand Cabinets, LLC spend including both supply chain and corporate and professional service through problem-solving and support of assigned sourcing categories which includes new product/service introduction, pricing, quality, service & delivery. We are looking for an individual who wants to learn quickly to help run the business and ultimately, change the business with creative thinking and problem-solving. We want you to bring new ideas to the table to drive change and create value as we continue our path in next-generation sourcing initiatives. 

This position can work remotely within Eastern or Central time zones. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop ongoing commodity requests for quotations, analyze supplier response and provide recommendations
  • Facilitate timely pricing maintenance, accuracy and system updates 
  • Facilitate new product introduction strategies to include identifying specifications, obtaining quotes, filling out and processing material worksheets, and support/developing of innovative solutions
  • Monitor, report, and take action on supplier performance metrics to include compliance, quality, delivery, and total cost in support of MLLC objectives
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders by providing timely and accurate information in support of business needs
  • Develop a thorough understanding of full commodity value stream using data and analysis to drive insights
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the total cost
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and problem solve various supply issues

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent experience required
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Oracle experience and understanding preferred
