Position

We are seeking an experienced Education Manager (m/f/d) to join our team and contribute to the establishment of the European Raw Materials Academy. This pioneering initiative aims to bridge skills gaps in the raw materials sector by offering innovative education programs and training opportunities.

As an Education Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of professional education in the raw materials field by creating specialised solutions that deliver a skilled workforce for today and agile human capital for tomorrow.

Your Mission and Responsibilities

  • Shape the Academy's Vision - Contribute to the establishment and positioning of the European Raw Materials Academy as Europe's premier raw materials education institution.
  • Build on EIT RawMaterials' knowledge capital and world-leading industry and innovation network.
  • Pilot Program Implementation - Implement the pilot phase of the European Raw Materials Academy, focusing on the development of the university portfolio.
  • Accelerate adaptability and skill development through specialised training and innovative programs.
  • Portfolio Evaluation and Scaling - Evaluate existing program portfolios and analyze future demand, recommending actions to scale the portfolio and increase student fee revenues.
  • Develop tailored workforce skill strategies, including up-skilling and re-skilling initiatives.
  • KPI & Financial Target Achievement - Measure the success of the program portfolio against set KPIs and financial sustainability targets.
  • Align programs with the Academy's strategic vision for sustainable growth.
  • Global Recruitment Campaigns - Develop and execute international recruitment campaigns to attract prospective students from around the world.
  • Position the European Raw Materials Academy as a world-class education hub.
  • Accreditation Efforts - Drive accreditation efforts, including obtaining the EIT Label for short courses and fellowships.
  • Flagship Program Leadership - Lead flagship programs such as the Raw & Circular Economy Expedition (RACE) and Lab2Market.
Requirements

Essential

  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Understanding of professional education across various levels.
  • Ability to balance financial viability with quality.
  • Proactive self-starter with adaptability and excellent communication skills.
  • Capability to navigate both big picture strategies and detailed implementation.
  • Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the metals and minerals value chain.
