Demiurge Studios is looking for talented, budding programmers for paid internships at our Boston, MA office! As an engineering intern at Demiurge you’ll work on the front lines, implementing features alongside our designers, artists and engineers, which have a direct impact on our players and other developers. Demiurge development teams are cohesive, highly skilled and well-supported. Come join us!
Responsibilities:Work closely with artists and designers to understand and define game features and system requirementsImplement, test, debug and maintain source codeDeliver high quality, functional systems to specificationCollaborate with other engineers to develop and iterate on game featuresProvide ongoing support to artists and designersMake educated trade-offs among scope, quality and pace.Qualifications:Strong programming skillsDeep knowledge of algorithms and data structuresWorking towards a degree in Computer Science or similar discipline (Physics, Math, EE, etc.)Excellent written and oral communication skills in EnglishPreference to applicants with experience:Developing software in a professional environmentDeveloping software using agile methodologiesDeveloping games with the Unreal and/or Unity Game EnginesWorking in C++ and/or C#Developing apps or games for mobile platformsAbout us:
