ABOUT THE ROLE:

Your focus will be on seamless feature integration, platform stability, and technology enhancement to support high-performance financial operations.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Engage with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret requirements, and seamlessly integrate new features into the platform.
- Ensure optimal platform performance, security, and stability through rigorous testing, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Assess, recommend, and implement advanced technologies to continuously enhance platform capabilities and drive innovation.
- Resolve complex platform issues efficiently, serving as a key escalation point for junior team members and providing expert troubleshooting support.
- Collaborate with product managers to ensure that infrastructure development aligns with strategic product objectives and enhances overall product value.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely resolution of critical platform issues and maintain operational continuity.
- Contribute to the creation and review of comprehensive documentation for platform architecture, APIs, and processes, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth within the team.
WHAT WE EXPECT:
- Over 7 years of experience in DevOps and Automation, with a focus on platform engineering and cloud-native applications.
- At least 2 years of experience in designing, building, deploying, and automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python or Java.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud computing concepts (AWS).
- Extensive practical experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, EKS).
- Demonstrated ability in designing and implementing APIs and web services.
- Proven experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with a track record of effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in Agile environments and with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and message brokers.
- Experience with SaaS products and integrating various SaaS solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda).
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Experience with configuration management tools, including Terraform and Ansible.
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies, such as Istio.
WHAT WE OFFER:
Salary ranges: The salary for this position starts from 5,500 EUR gross per month, with the potential for adjustments based on experience and qualifications.
