Internship/Co-op Student - Finance, Accounting, & Actuarial

Location: Remote or Hybrid in Kingston/Toronto


Empire life is looking to hire students passionate about Finance, Accounting, or Actuarial Sciences to join our team! 


We have several teams located in Kingston and Toronto looking for bright students to gain hands-on, well-rounded, and meaningful experience. Both as an individual and as part of a team, you will begin to understand how you can make a difference to our business and customers. What you’ll be working on

Various duties, dependent upon the position and department such as:

  • Documenting end-to-end financial processes

  • Preparing key indicator packages

  • Research actuarial or financial strategies for the business

  • Monitor, review, analyze and reconcile accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy . 

  • Work with other Finance team members to continuously improve and automate team processes and templates

  • Participate in projects and initiatives as assigned
