Service Desk Analyst

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join our team. The Service Desk Analyst will help resolve customer’s issues in a fast-paced data driven environment, including working with multiple project teams, platforms, architectures, and diverse technologies. Work independently and with team members in an agile environment under the direction and supervision of a senior technical lead. 

As a Service Desk Analyst, you will work with clients to troubleshoot problems related to applications or provided services, document issues in Jira, and collaborate with the Operations team for issue resolution. You will also work with developers and the service engineering team to troubleshoot issues, collaborate with clients on issue resolution, and provide updates. Additionally, you’ll develop SOPs and troubleshooting guides, analyze issues, and proactively notify customers about upcoming maintenance or service issues.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Help Desk or Service Desk operations
  • Experience with Data Systems, Data Services, and .NET applications
  • Experience using DevOps tools such as Jira
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Test Methodologies 
  • Ability to analyze requirements and formulate an issue
  • Ability to research, be creative, and problem solve
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT, CS, or Data Science field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with programming languages such as .NET, Python, or R
  • Experience developing web-based support documentation
  • Experience executing the automation process
  • Knowledge of data and data driven analytical applications
  • Possession of excellent analytical and logical reporting skills
  • Possession of excellent communication and collaboration skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
