Job Title Relationship Coordinator

Overview

As a Relationship Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing support to one or more bankers in maintaining key client relationships / revenue streams. You will serve as the primary day to day contact for clients. You will act independently as a liaison between clients, bankers, and operations staff, responding to client inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. You will have substantial, direct interaction with clients and prospects, fielding inquiries, doing research, preparing presentations, and executing special requests. You will have a general knowledge of all Private Wealth Management products and services, guidelines and procedures and be able to research account transactions records to resolve discrepancies and answer questions or provide documentation on client activities.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide back-up coverage when bankers are unavailable, provide timely and accurate follow-up for assigned projects, serve as primary contact for clients, handle problems before they become significant, and prepare customized reports/summaries as it is needed

  • Organize and maintain files, correspondence, and records in accordance with policy; facilitate client directed transactions (including account closures, maintenance, etc)

  • Responsible for new client adoptions – Know Your Client (KYC), account opening, etc; manage and drive all Event Driven Reviews and regularly review KYCs to completion

  • Provide support to assigned banker(s) in acquisition of new clients and revenue streams; maintain deal pipeline to reflect current prospects, active deals, and revenue estimates

Skills You’ll Need

  • Undergraduate degree, bachelor’s degree in finance related field preferred

  • Experience in a related field a preference

  • Series 7 and 63 recommended

  • Ability to interact effectively with clients, managers, and peers

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $75,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
