Role Summary:

You will be part of the Product team owning the purchase and post-purchase experiences and applications responsible for making the ordering simple and exciting for customers. You will build and grow applications and features for Saks.com, the Saks app, SaksOffFifth.com and the Saks Off Fifth apps. Partnering with your peers in engineering, design, business, and operations, you will define and ship new features that drive customer LTV. You’ll be responsible for the entire development cycle, from ideation to launch. In addition, you’ll define the vision and strategy by identifying new opportunities and prioritizing features on the product roadmap

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5-7 years of product or program management experience

  • Experience building metrics from the ground up and using data to determine and drive improvements, including influencing leadership

  • Experience owning technology products and roadmaps

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience developing and executing solutions in a fast paced, high growth, operational business environment

 

Role Description:

  • Manage existing application features and actively lead the research definition and development of new features to advance the purchase and post-purchase roadmap

  • You will be the 'owner' of your area and provide guidance to your stakeholders

  • Prioritize and maintain the application specific roadmap and pipeline

  • Facilitate and drive customer focused solutions across the organization, through various application systems

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for new features.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into application solution, and to help drive consensus

  • Forge strong partnerships with functional leads and third-party vendors to define and prioritize use cases. Lead the creation of detailed requirements, user stories, and product specifications. Work closely with UX/Design, Product, and Engineering teams to translate vision into tangible outcomes, considering factors like cost, timeline, dependencies, and support business owners to define business cases and/or measuring/improving operational results

  • Act as subject matter expert to major business processes and supporting applications/capabilities

  • Define and present strategy for features, write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and participate in all agile events of the application group

  • Mentor younger product managers to help the team achieve their full potential
