Your missions

Ironclad is the #1 contract lifecycle management platform for innovative companies.  Every company, in every country, in every industry runs on contracts, but managing these contracts slows companies down and costs them millions of dollars. L’Oréal, Staples, Mastercard, and other leading innovators use Ironclad to collaborate and negotiate on contracts, accelerate contracting while maintaining compliance, and turn contracts into critical carriers of operational business intelligence. It’s the only platform flexible enough to handle every type of contract workflow, whether a sales agreement, an HR agreement or a complex NDA.

Ironclad is writing the narrative that shows how beautiful and functional contracting will change business. We’re a leader in the Forrester Wave for Contract Lifecycle Management. We have been recognized as a Fortune Great Place to Work for four consecutive years. Our innovation and work culture have been recognized by Glassdoor's Best Places to Work 2023, Forbes’ 50 Most Promising AI Companies, Wing Venture Capital's Enterprise Tech 30, and Gartner's Magic Quadrant. We work in a highly collaborative environment, and strive to foster a positive, inclusive culture.  We’re backed by leading investors like Accel, Y Combinator, Sequoia, and BOND. For more information, visit www.ironcladapp.com or follow us on LinkedIn and Twitter.

We’re on a journey to redesign contracts. And, that means rethinking how people (and companies) form trust and work together. We're looking for an imaginative Product Leader to help us challenge the status quo and redefine contracting.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and management of the company's product portfolio.

This role requires deep product development instincts, market insights, and balancing technical tradeoffs to achieve business goals with limited resources.

You’ll partner deeply with engineers, product managers, GTM leaders, and customers to transform and humanize the nature of a contract - from paper to data, and from inaccessible to intuitive.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead product managers, designers and engineers to build out product functionality focusing on our Core Platform

  • Spend time with prospects and customers to understand needs

  • Define and build out business model and partner on monetization

  • Define strategy and deliver a series of bets that finds product market fit

  • Define a strategy that outlines new bets for Ironclad and what it can unlock for the future of the business based on existing company and product strategy

  • Manage, inspire, and build a high-performing team that is able to meaningfully inflect the Ironclad business, explore new opportunities for Ironclad to grow its customer penetration, usage, move into new markets, and/or displace competitors

  • Be deeply collaborative with existing EPD teams, GTM, and more

  • Communicate often and clearly up and across the organization and to customers as bets quickly evolve

Key Skills:

  • Embrace ambiguity -- this role and its structure will likely evolve, and will likely start off loosely shaped. It’s critical the person in-seat embraces the nature of the “unknown” this role demands

  • High ownership -- regardless of reporting structure, this role demands high ownership of everything from the strategy to the details of product execution, enablement, GTM partnership, and more to make this successful

  • Deeply collaborative -- given this is a spinoff of an existing product, its critical that the lines of communication between teams and across E/P/D and the entire organization (GTM, leadership, and more) are strong and thoughtful

  • Utilize speed as an advantage -- velocity is the ultimate competitive advantage in roles like this, ideally via a tightly knit, small, xfn team

  • Always model good leadership at your core, and our company values of Drive, Intent, Integrity, and Empathy

You already have/are:

  • 8+ years of experience delivering innovative and commercially successful products at a tech company.

  • 6+ years leading cross disciplined and cross functional product development teams

  • Shipped exemplary work into a large market.

  • A phenomenal Product Leader; with evidence of innovative product-based impacts while lifting the craft of others.

  • Evidence of building a product development culture that can quickly seed, cultivate, or terminate bets based on what’s working and what isn’t.

  • Deeply understand product and design decisions, drive decision-making alongside the team, identify gaps, delegate appropriately.

  • Fluent with modern web application development, design and best practices

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of a company.

  • A player-coach, with evidence of fostering growth and development in others.

  • A continuous learner who solicits feedback proactively.

  • Skilled at balancing product innovation and business goals with GTM execution.

Benefits:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401k

  • Wellness reimbursement

  • Take what you need vacation policy

  • Generous parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers
