Position Summary:

A Senior AWS cloud engineer is responsible for designing, building, and managing cloud-based applications and services using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Typical roles are:

  • Minimum of 4 year of operational expertise with infrastructure configuration in AWS.
  • Developing new cloud-based solutions
  • Define and develop blueprints and roadmaps for building solutions in AWS Cloud

Typical AWS responsibilities are:

Experience in developing solutions utilizing the Amazon web services stack (Lambda, Elastic Cache, EC2, BeanStalk, DynamoDB, Kinesis)Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS Migrating complex, multi-tier applications on AWS Selecting the appropriate AWS services to design and deploy an application based on given requirements Implementing cost-control strategies Maintaining and improving existing cloud infrastructure Working with developers to optimize applications for the cloud Automating cloud deployment and configuration processes Ensuring cloud architecture meets all necessary compliance standards Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues Establishing disaster recovery procedures and conducting security audit procedures.

  • Documenting all technical specifications, procedures and policies
  • Maintaining and deploying the cloud applications
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the cloud infrastructure
  • Engage with Amazon around solving technical problems in the AWS ecosystem
  • Create and deliver knowledge sharing presentations and documentation to developers and operations teams (Document system diagrams, run books, and procedures)
  • Ability to run or manage at least 5 members under in terms helping them in technical solution building.
  • Any AWS Professional or AWS Specialty certification is must.
