Become part of a highly technically skilled team, in charge of the development of the Radar SDK for all NXP supported platforms. Radar SDK enables developers to enhance radar system performance, leveraging tight coupling of NXP’s advanced software algorithms with its latest radar processor family for improved safety and differentiation. The proprietary radar algorithm library allows quick integration of proven algorithms into radar sensor applications, helping our customers to speed radar sensor development and reduce R&D investment.

As Radar SDK Internship Engineer you will contribute to the success of the team by ensuring the definition, prototyping and productization of the radar algorithms in alignment with marketing requirements.

Your responsibilities

  • Involvement in activities of problem modeling, advanced mathematical algorithm development, prototyping (in Matlab, C/C++, ML frameworks, etc…), real-data validation with experimental systems, embedded software implementation, system integration and testing tasks.

Should have knowledge on the following topics:

  •    Radar Basics (RF & Digital Processing Chain)
  •    Analog and Digital Signal Processing
  •    Linear Algebra, Applied Mathematics
  •    Statistics (Estimation Theory)

Your profile

To be successful in this role you have:

  • University studies in progress in a technical field such as: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science.
  • Theoretical experience with signal processing and system modeling.
  • Familiarity with programming in Matlab.

Furthermore, you are:

  • Skilled in oral and written communication in English.
  • Attentive to details, self-motivated and able to be a team player while working independently.

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a contract for 1 year.
