Business Value Architect - Fixed Term Contract

Business Unit/Function - Finance/IT

Location - Lodz

Reports to (Title) - Head of Technology Improvement

Role Purpose

Tate & Lyle has recently embarked on a journey to utilize a Process Mining tool called Celonis to identify areas for improvement within the business.  As part of a newly formed Centre of Excellence, this role will become an expert in utilizing this tool while closely working with the business process leads to analyze, identify and implement improvement opportunities (Use cases) within the business.

Main Accountabilities
  • Translate strategic objectives into high -impact use cases
  • Lead business values workshops and use Celonis to identify quality opportunities for process improvement
  • Use data to derive root causes, quantify business impacts
  • Build business cases and ROI calculations, leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices
  • Formulate solutions and improvement actions in finance, sales, procurement, and/or other major business functions
  • Execute improvement actions and change initiatives
  • Present results to senior stakeholders
  • Drive a governance structure and operating model for customers to support Celonis across the organization
  • Devise strategies to enable end users at scale
  • Expand your use case and capability knowledge using the latest features and functionalities of the platform

Performance Measures

  • Successful identification, analysis, validation and implementation of business improvement utilizing the various process mining (Celonis) and or automation (e.g. UiPath) tools where possible.

About You

  • Background in Continuous Improvement with appropriate certifications (i.e. Lean, Green Belt or Black Belt certification).
  • Experience in team-based project work, strategy design or process improvement execution.
  • Degree in finance, economics, business information systems or other business engineering related fields.
  • Demonstratable understanding of organisational interdependencies and cultural nuances, and proven ability to leverage them to build a strong network of business stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication and presentations skills (verbal, written and listening). Be articulate, expressive, engaging, and inspiring – an advocate for the function and its purpose.
  • Bring strong analytical skills, especially in applying.
  • Ability to see a process end to end and the ability to influence functional leaders to create flow.
  • Be relentlessly curious with all stakeholders and be able to clearly and concisely articulate the root cause of issues.
  • Be a confident, proactive self-starter who can work autonomously with strong attention to detail.
  • Practice unquestionable integrity and discretion, be committed to T&L core values and behaviours.
