Our Position

Protocall is looking for a Talent Assistant to support our recruitment and onboarding process. This is a direct applicant facing role, guiding candidates through their journey, ensuring an exceptional experience from application to onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for all candidates, providing personalized support throughout the hiring process.

  • Work with our HRIS and Talent Management Software.

  • Review and screen applications, maintain accurate candidate records, and manage applicant tracking systems including opening new job requisitions.

  • Respond to candidate inquiries and provide technical assistance with a response time of no more than 24 business hours.

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication.

  • Track completion of candidate assessments, manage onboarding tasks (e.g., e-verify and background checks), and support candidates through their hiring journey.

  • Send Offer Letters, process accepted offers, send background authorization forms, and ensure recruitment targets are met.

  • Provide an excellent candidate experience by fostering clear communication between candidates and the hiring team.

  • Collaborate with the Recruitment & Onboarding Supervisor to meet recruitment goals and adapt to changing hiring needs.

  • This role will also involve being on camera for virtual meetings and onboarding support, so strong communication and a professional presence in virtual environments are essential for this position.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required

  • Administrative Experience Preferred

  • Talent Acquisition Experience Preferred

  • Weekend Availability

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is critical to be successful in this role. You will process lots of data regularly that must be accurate and timely.

  • Must have above average typing speed of a demonstrable 45 wpm or greater.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with both candidates and internal teams professionally.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and sound judgment.

  • Knowledge of recruiting laws, practices, and applicant tracking systems.

  • Proficient in the google suite of products such as gmail, sheets, docs, slides etc.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a time sensitive environment.

  • Proven ability to manage stress effectively and maintain a positive attitude.
