Account Relationship Manager

Jonas Metals Software is the merger of successful Metals ERP businesses within Jonas Software group. Positioned as a successful market leader, specializing in IT solutions for Metals Services centers globally. Customer service and satisfaction is vitally important maintaining our good name and reputation within the industry. JMS offer an all-in-one IT solution and provide our own sector leading bespoke software and professional services to our clients.

POSITION:

This position is primary focused on the clients within Europe. Working as a liaison (in person or online) to ensure customers maintain their understanding of JMS products, services and support, available and planned.

The role is to be a primary contact for clients, obtaining and defining requirements. Updating CRM activities and feeding to pipeline.

The Account Relationship Manager will work closely with all JMS departments, for client inquiries, generating proposals and delivering results.

The role requires consultative skills and metals industry understanding, so you can engage with clients to identify opportunities and provide needs analysis. Preparing business analysis findings and recommendation. Presenting findings to the client and internally.

There is a responsibility to understand the Utopia Grid of products and services that can be aligned to the clients and educate them as to the benefits of these solutions to the betterment of their businesses.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s product portfolio and awareness of competitor products

  • Maintaining an awareness of industry trends and attend industry events

  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills

  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships, alliances and networks within industry (or any other vertical market) as well as with other key stakeholders to generate leads

  • Attend industry trade shows as directed by the management team from time to time

  • Participate in regular team meetings

  • Maintaining and developing the Company’s CRM and internal systems in accordance with company standards

  • Client engagement to identify and analyse requirements, so they can be presented to client or reviewed with JMS

  • Define clients requirements, so they can feed into development

  • Work with sales on pricing and negotiation

  • Provide news and materials for the marketing

  • Ability to travel in the UK

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant professional metals industry experience

  • Consultancy skills to performance business processes and investigations

  • Excellent communications skills, at all levels, from board room to shop floor

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communications skills

  • The ability to build and foster business relationships

  • Good understanding of technology and how it is applied in business

  • A moderate degree of computer literacy and technical competency

  • Demonstrable evidence of organizing customer accounts and projection implementation.
