Your missions

This position is 80% Talent Acquisition responsibilities and 20% Generalist responsibilities. This position is also hybrid and will work from home 4x a week and report to the Las Vegas office 1x day a week.

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, selecting and hiring the best candidates to join the TrueNet team. This position owns the strategic sourcing recruiting process: from working with hiring managers on position requirements to the closing and offer stage. This position also supports our Spanish speaking managers and employees. This is a high volume, high touch position that requires a passion high volume fast paced recruiting and for developing sourcing strategies, searching for top talent and assessing talent. The Human Resources Specialist also processes new hires and terminations, employee relations, benefits, compensation and human resource information systems. Evaluates job functions and duties to the organizational goals.  Develops, evaluates, and consults human resource practices within an area of specialty. Ensures operations meet all workplace regulations.  (This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)

  • Manage full life cycle recruitment across multiple service lines and disciplines including Construction, Professional Services, Cable Television, Wireless, Broadband Engineering and Infrastructure and Telecommunications.
  • Develop and manage nationwide strategic recruiting programs to ensure TrueNet is advancing our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative.
  • Generate a diverse candidate population using various methods including job boards, membership organizations, and personal networking.  Strong emphasis on sourcing for candidates via all social media outlets (Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, etc.).
  • Establish strong partnerships with hiring teams to quickly assess business needs, determine candidate profile and launch a thorough hiring strategy.
  • Partner with the leadership team and hiring managers to drive the talent strategy and successfully attract/place exceptional talent across the organization.
  • Understand and stay current with market trends and employment conditions within assigned division(s); utilize this information to fine tune sourcing and other talent acquisition strategies.
  • Drive exceptional candidate experience through every touch point in the recruiting process and ultimately close top candidates.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Provide value added human resources business delivery; with both high touch, client focused internal consulting, strong metric driven service and transaction support components.
  • Lead and direct the full employee experience for assigned division, including on-boarding, performance management, employee engagement and retention practices.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing and resolving employee issues promptly, effectively, and objectively while complying with applicable laws and policies.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution, advising, coaching and counseling in the resolution of job performance issues.
  • Manage annual performance management process, leading performance calibration, coaching leaders on employee relation initiatives, performance improvement plans, and individual development plans.
  • Provide front-line support to end users for all HRIS systems: troubleshooting, training and enhancing use.
  • Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of local, state, and federal laws regarding HR activities and ensure compliance.
  • Will support various times zones across the Unites States.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition and at least 3+ years of experience in human resources preferred.
  • UKG Ready experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience applying independent judgment and discretion on sensitive and complex employee issues and working closely and effectively with leadership at different levels of the organization.
  • Possess both strategic thinking capability and “hands on” HR plan implementation experience.
  • Must have intermediate HRIS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.
  • Must be able to efficiently use a Windows-based computer.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communications skills.
  • Must be able to work alone, and with a team.
  • Frequent walking, standing, sitting within the work area.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, peers, et al.
  • Travel up to 15% may be required.
  • The position requires working independently, as well as part of a team.
  • This position requires verbal, virtual and face-to-face contact with others.
  • Frequent use of a computer is necessary.
  • This position requires use of all general office equipment.
