Contract Role

Maximus (https://www.maximustribe.com/) is a mission-driven consumer health company that provides men with content, community, and clinical support to optimize them in mind and body. Maximus has raised $15M from top Silicon Valley VCs such as Founders Fund and 8VC as well as leading angel investors/operators from companies like Bulletproof, Tinder, Coinbase, Daily Stoic, & Shopify.

Maximus is looking for a Content Creator to manage engaging video content for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, aligning with brand strategy and translating scientific concepts into accessible, educational videos while collaborating with various teams and optimizing performance.

Responsibilities:

Video Content Creation and Management:

  • Develop and execute an engaging video content strategy for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

  • Create high-quality video content that resonates with our target audience, including shooting, editing, and post-production.

  • Be the on-camera talent, delivering messages that are relatable, educational, and aligned with our brand voice.

  • Regularly post videos to YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, optimizing for maximum reach and engagement.

  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust content strategies to improve engagement and reach.

Brand Strategy Execution:

  • Collaborate with the Maximus marketing team to align video content with overall brand strategy.

  • Translate complex scientific concepts related to human biology and hormones into digestible video content that is both educational and engaging.

Content Collaboration:

  • Partner with leadership, clinical, and marketing teams to produce content that engages and educates our audience.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with the broader Maximus team to generate fresh video content ideas.

  • Stay updated on social media trends, particularly in video content, and recommend new formats and strategies to keep our content innovative.

Your First 90 Days:

  • Conduct a thorough audit of our current video content strategy across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

  • Develop and recommend a video content generation framework that enhances brand messaging and engagement.

  • Create a roadmap for video content that aligns with our broader marketing goals.

  • Implement new video campaigns across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring regular content production and posting.

  • Monitor and report on the performance of video content, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in video content creation for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

  • Strong video shooting and editing skills, with proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).

  • Comfortable being on camera and delivering messages in a clear, engaging, and relatable manner.

  • Ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand content.

  • Familiarity with social media trends and algorithms, particularly in video content.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
