We’re looking for a versatile, content-focused Product Marketing Manager who possesses the technical acumen and strong content creation experience to meet our buyers and users on their terms at various stages of the marketing and sales funnel.
The ideal candidate has:
- The cybersecurity experience and market interest to understand the challenges our users are up against and the psychological motivators that drive them
- The curiosity to become proficient using the product and its features and capabilities - and how its use varies by ideal customer profile (ICP), persona and use case
- The creativity to deliver engaging content that speaks to each persona as a member of their tribe, and further, to align that content with the buyer journey in a manner designed to move them through the funnel
- The marketing athleticism to lend a hand when needed beyond the scope of content
Responsibilities:Know our ICPs inside and out, inclusive of the buyer and user personas in different teams and their specific use cases Create high-quality, ICP-centric content that accelerates pipeline and drives product adoption — collaborate with Demand Gen, Social Media, Website, etc. owners to drive product awareness, product interest, and purchase of Silo for Research. Includes multi-format content delivery such as: data sheets, pitch decks, blogs, demo videos, release announcements, newsletters, ad copy, website copy, webinars, nurture emails, etc.Create high-quality content that enables, educates, and inspires our customer-facing teams with the “so what” — enable customer-facing teams (e.g. AEs, SDRs, CSAMs) with the right collateral and training so they can close new deals, expand within customers and upsell new features. Support Demand Gen, Social Media, Website, etc. owners with positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with the ICP, persona or use case being targetedEngage with customers to understand use cases and create case studies, industry influencers and thought leaders to expand content and audience reach, and the communities where our ICPs gather to learn and influence discussions. Work with 3rd party agencies and contractors for content design / layout as well as metrics to measure the quality of content, engagement, and content reach.Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent publishing and promotion of high-quality content across various channels - to potentially include the planning, guest identification and co-hosting of an existing podcast
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree - preferably in a technical discipline7+ years of product marketing and content experience in the B2B SaaS spaceTechnical knowledge in cybersecurity-related software / SaaS CTI and SOC incident response experience is a strong plus Familiarity with Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) is a strong plusProven track record in content marketing strategy, content development, and content delivery across multiple formats and mediums to meet the buyer and/or user at specific stages of the buyer journey Proven track record building world-class content for specific buyer and user persona use cases within targeted ICPs in a tone that speaks to them as a member of their tribe Strong writing and editing skills and experience with content generation including blog posts, tutorials, white papers, info sheets, presentations and videos Experience with the planning and hosting of podcasts a plusData-driven mindset with experience in leveraging insights to drive decision-making.Experience managing and collaborating with vendors, agencies, and freelancers.
