Your missions

SCO Environmental Health and Safety Intern

As a Supply Chain Environmental Health and Safety intern, you will:

  • Get broad exposure to our Supply Chain organization and leadership team.
  • Gain invaluable job experience, career development, and leadership opportunities.

  • Work with cross functional teams to evaluate and drive performance improvements.

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH and SAFETY - Environment, Health and Safety, also known as EHS, works with each Business unit to ensure compliance with all applicable EPA, OSHA and DOT regulations. In addition, we work with each business unit on risk management. Risks in the form of employee injuries, environmental spills or releases, bad press regarding environmental sustainability, etc.

Undergraduate entering Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year

Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, Agriculture, Industrial Engineering, Feed, Milling, or related program or discipline.

Must be willing to relocate for the summer

Demonstrated leadership in school, academic, and industry related clubs

Preferences: Prior internship or coop experience, preferably in a related industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving, demonstrated leadership skills, decision making and analytical skills. Attention to detail, ability to work independently and produce results.  Ability to work in a team environment; computer skills such as Microsoft Office.
