At SNKI, we develop cutting-edge AI-powered applications that empower businesses, ranging from custom AI chatbots to content generation systems and email automation. Our focus is on rapidly delivering innovative solutions by combining Python development with the latest AI tools. You will work directly with our Managing Partner, who drives AI strategy and prototypes, to build and deploy AI-driven applications.
In this role, you’ll be our primary AI developer, collaborating closely with our AI consultant and managing partner to turn prototypes into production-ready systems. While you will be the key technical contributor on AI development, you will also collaborate with our broader web agency team, who handles the front-end integration of the systems.

Role Overview:
As an Intermediate Python Developer, you’ll be responsible for developing scalable backend solutions for AI-driven applications. These include custom chatbots, automation systems, and generative content tools. You’ll handle everything from API development to cloud deployment, using technologies such as FastAPI,Docker, and PostgreSQL.
Take the chance to collaborate with a broader web development team when integrating our AI systems into front-end applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Backend Python Development:
    • Build and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI, focusing on AI-driven applications such as chatbots and automation tools.
    • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for communication with external systems, including AI services and third-party APIs.
  • Cloud Deployment & Infrastructure:
    • Containerize applications using Docker for seamless deployment.
    • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • AI Workflow Integration:
    • Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate AI models and systems into the backend, using tools likeLangChain, Hugging Face, or OpenAI APIs.
    • Work on automating AI workflows for tasks like content generation and email automation.
  • Database Management:
    • Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring the efficient storage and retrieval of data for AI applications.
  •  Collaboration & Integration:
    • Work closely with the AI consultant and managing partner to translate AI prototypes into scalable production systems.
    • Occasionally collaborate with the web development team to integrate AI backends with front-end applications when required.
  •  Use AI Coding Tools:
    • Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Jetbrains AI) to speed up coding and development processes.

  • Proficient in Python Development:
    • Solid experience in Python development, especially using frameworks likeFastAPI, Flask, or Django for API development.
  • API Development & System Integration:
    • Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services or AI models. 
  • Docker & Cloud Experience:
    • Proficient in Docker for containerized applications and cloud platforms such asAWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deployment and infrastructure management.
  • Database Experience:
    • Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases for managing and optimizing application data. 
  • Open to AI Tool Usage:
    • Willingness to use AI-powered coding tools to enhance software development speed and efficiency. 
Nice to Have:
  • Generative AI Framework Experience:
    • Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, Hugging Face, or OpenAI APIs (though training will be provided if needed). 
  • Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines:
    • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). 
  • Basic Front-End Knowledge:
    • Experience with front-end technologies such as React is a plus but not required.
