Job Description:

ServiceNOW Senior Business Consultant

Location: UK

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Due to security clearance requirements candidates must hold or be eligible for SC clearance. Candidates must be UK national/British passport holder and resided in the UK for 5 years and over.

As Senior Business Consultant you will be part of an innovative team, working to define and deploy world class customer solutions using the ServiceNow platform.

Providing process and technical expertise as a consulting service to clients; contributing to the design and delivery of ServiceNow solutions including customer engagement, user requirement definition, change management, engagement management, configuration of technical infrastructure components, business focused testing and training. You will develop and demonstrate specialised knowledge and skills in ServiceNow as an enterprise solution.

What does the job involve?

  • You will be a part of a team of ServiceNow specialists delivering ServiceNow solutions to multiple customers. 

  • Leading workshops to demonstrate the platform and application function, define client current and desired state, and finally the proposed solution. 

  • Building client understanding of ServiceNow functionality and presenting to a high standard of quality, including customers demonstration, story definition, testing, and supporting the wider sales and delivery functions.

  • Mentoring and training more junior members of the team

  • Producing documentation and training material for the implemented solutions; training the client.

What do I need to succeed?

  • The ideal candidate will have several years experience in ServiceNow design and development preferably in a consulting environment.

  • An understanding of Business Analysis and Service Management concepts, delivery assurance principals and procedures.

  • A high level of knowledge of the ServiceNow application and ideally experience of platform delivery and enhancement.

  • Have experience focused on ServiceNOW IRM ( Integrated Risk Management), GRC ( Governance Risk Compliance) and BCM ( Business Continuity Management).

You will be have obtained some of the following certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Administrator

  • Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist

  • ITIL Foundation

  • Additional specialist ServiceNow certifications or experience such as GRC, SecOps, HR, CSM, FSM, CMDB, ITOM, Service Portal, ITAM, Discovery, PPM, or PA would be an advantage.

  • Some ServiceNow development and scripting skills such as JavaScript, HTML and XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, AngularJS would be advantageous.

  • You will need to have strong communications both written and oral, ability to present solutions to customers including senior management and be highly focused on providing strong customer service.

  • Able to work as part of a team or individually to project timelines, you will need to be pro-active, creative and able to research solutions and make recommendations, willing to learn and take on new challenges.

  • You will need to have the ability to work from home and also to travel to client locations for meetings and workshops or work on client sites for periods where required.
