POSITION LOCATION

Richmond, VA (hybrid)

Remote US (Eastern & Central Time)

This position is available to Virginia residents as Richmond, Virginia in-office applicants with a hybrid 2 day onsite minimum schedule or remote applicants residing in states/locations under Eastern or Central Standard Time: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas,  Virginia, Washington DC, Vermont, West Virginia or Wisconsin.

    

YOUR ROLE

You’ll be a key member of a small team responsible for ensuring efficient Liquidity Management for Genworth’s Annuity, Life and Long-Term Care Businesses.  This position is responsible for partnering with Investments, Finance, Treasury and other functional areas in developing cash forecasts.  You will complete complex ad hoc financial analysis and actively support ongoing process improvement.

What you will be doing

  • Own and manage key aspects of US Life Insurance Cash forecast.
  • Ensure efficient deployment of Cash for Investment.
  • Build relationships with key forecast suppliers and customers such as Investments, Finance and Corporate Treasury. 
  • Develop and conduct reviews with focus on continuous forecast improvement.
  • Monitor cash and collateral liquidity demands surrounding Trust, Reinsurance, Derivative and Repo programs.
  • Complete complex ad hoc financial analysis and drive ongoing process improvement.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other technical area required; Master’s Degree is preferred
  • 5-7 years financial analysis experience required; Prior Insurance and / or Finance industry experience preferred
  • Strong modeling and excel skills, including familiarity with automation or analytics tools such as Alteryx.
  • Strong communication, analytic, and problem-solving skills.  Ability to drill down to root cause, understand and articulate underlying business reason, and apply appropriate judgement
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work successfully on cross-functional teams and manage projects
  • Ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with Treasury processes and products including Treasury Workstation and Settlement systems

For the State of New York:

The base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $104,400 up to the maximum of $188,000.  In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 10% of your base compensation.  The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.
