Position Overview:

The Operations Associate will be responsible for driving operational transformation across our portfolio companies. This role requires a motivated individual with 1-2 years of experience in operational consulting or transformation, preferably from a top-tier consulting firm. The successful candidate will conduct process mapping, develop strategic initiatives, and support senior leadership to optimize operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Improvements: Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement operational improvements in portfolio companies.
  • Process Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses, including process mapping, bottleneck identification, and root cause analysis.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Develop and execute initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, supply chains, and overall operational performance.
  • KPI Monitoring: Support the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress.
  • Due Diligence: Assist in evaluating operational capabilities during due diligence processes to identify areas for value creation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years in operations transformation, ideally within a top-tier consulting or operational advisory firm.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Process Improvement: Familiarity with methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proactivity: Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
