THE OPPORTUNITY:

Harford Mutual is looking for a Claims intern to support the Claims team over the 2024 summer. This position is for individuals currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing career opportunities in Risk and Insurance Management or related field.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Support Claims through the performance of specific tasks
  • These tasks will include, but not be limited to: taking first notices of loss from customers, handling small first party auto claims, reviewing policies and damage reports, and assisting with record retention documentation
  • Interns will go through extensive training to support these activities
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Risk and Insurance Management or related Business field
