XRHealth is seeking a highly motivated registered Occupational Therapist to join our expanding allied health team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a fully registered occupational therapist, have experience in providing telehealth assessments and interventions, and an interest in digital health, virtual reality therapy, private practice and a passion for ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing initial assessment sessions according to standards of practice and assess whether the patient is appropriate for the program
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions both individually and group focused
  • Documenting patient progress according to standards
  • Sending full progress reports to the referring physician if and when required

Requirements of the role:

  • Tertiary qualification as an Occupational Therapist
  • Interest and experience in adolescent, young adult, working aged adults Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with AHPRA 
  • An appropriate home office setup, including a high-speed internet connection and a computer/laptop/tablet for use in Telehealth
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working in AWST time zone
  • An interest in the role of emerging technology in Occupational Therapy practice
  • Must reside in Australia
  • Hold Permanent residency (PR) or the right to work in Australia without requiring employer sponsorship.
Highly desirable:
  • FCA writing experience
  • Screening of risk (e.g. suicide risk, falls risk)
