IoT Upgrades Project Manager

Project Manager

In this role you will have the opportunity to work with some of the largest and most respected companies in the world, across a wide range of industries; including, Aerospace & Defense, High Tech, Industrial Products, Electronics and Med Device. You will lead a team of system engineers that have the capability to upgrade our software for IoT customers that utilize our hosted solutions. Your work will be driving transformation of our business towards a more SaaS-friendly ecosystem.

Your team will consist of Architects and Engineers at varying levels, working on upgrades of various complexity and scope. You will also work closely with the extended Customer Success organization, R&D, Cloud organization, and Technical Support to ensure proper scope, resource pools, and dependencies are being defined and developed properly.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple projects to ensure the realization of value, quality, and on-time delivery of defined scope
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
• Communicate project status regularly to various stakeholders
• Perform risk management to mitigate potential risks
• Develop and manage a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques and change management processes

Requirements:

• Proven customer-facing project management experience of SaaS Implementations
• Strong leadership, escalation management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer facing and internal communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong working knowledge of project management software tools and methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of Project Management experience
• Experience with IoT implementations and PMP certification are a plus
