We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating and maintaining high-performance, user-friendly websites and has extensive experience working with the Timber Framework, Twig frontend, and TailwindCSS. You will be responsible for developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, integrating APIs, and enhancing the functionality of WooCommerce-powered sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Custom Theme & Plugin Development:
• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes using the Timber Framework and Twig templating.

• Create, modify, and optimize WordPress plugins to extend website functionality.

Frontend Development:

• Implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using TailwindCSS.
• Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into interactive web pages.

API Integration:

• Integrate third-party APIs to extend website capabilities, including payment gateways, CRMs, and other external services.

• Ensure seamless data flow between WordPress sites and external platforms.
• WooCommerce Development:
• Customize WooCommerce functionality and appearance according to project requirements.

• Develop and maintain WooCommerce extensions for enhanced e-commerce features.
  

Advanced Custom Fields (ACF):

• Utilize ACF to create dynamic, flexible content management experiences.
• Ensure ACF integrations are optimized for both backend usability and frontend performance.

Agile Methodology:

• Work closely with the development team in an agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback and suggestions for process enhancements.
• Performance Optimization & Best Practices:
• Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Follow best practices for coding, security, and WordPress standards.

Required:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a WordPress developer.
• Proven experience with the Timber Framework and Twig templating engine.
• Strong expertise in TailwindCSS and responsive design.
• Proficient in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Experience with WooCommerce customization and extension development.
• Solid experience with API integration and data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Candidates must be available to work London hours while based in Malaysia.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
