Anaqua is looking for highly motivated Senior Software Engineer’s who are eager to help us with our continued growth. The ideal candidate should possess strong web development, design, and architecture skills along with good customer support and interfacing skills.

Position Overview

Anaqua is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our friendly team in our Hyderabad office for a permanent position. The Software Engineer will build out ANAQUA web and desktop applications.  The ideal candidate should possess technical skills in fullstack and excellent communication skills. Being a team player is essential to this role.

• Build out ANAQUA web and desktop applications using Scala, Play framework, JavaFX and SQL
• Assist with non-engineering tasks, including technical meetings and working with cross functional groups

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

• Technical Skills:
• Experience with Scala and Play framework
• Experience with full-stack development – front-end through data layer
• Experience in writing and consuming web services -REST
• Experience with SQL

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work flexibly in a highly agile environment
• Ability to work with vague and evolving requirements
• Innovative and entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to do research and explore innovative technology areas for the product
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required

5+ years of progressive experience in developing web applications
