EVERFI from Blackbaud delivers scalable learning solutions, empowering organizations everywhere to instill knowledge around critical topics in areas such as financial literacy and mental wellness. Our Design team brings these topics to life and creates the software platforms that deliver those experiences to K12 schools, communities, and corporate employees. A Senior UX Designer, Platform at EVERFI from Blackbaud transforms business objectives and user needs into clear, coherent, and satisfying experiences that drive social impact, at scale, through our education platforms.

Responsibilities  

• Partner with Product Managers to gain an understanding of a problem space, relevant metrics, end users, stakeholders, and goals of strategic initiatives.
• Lead evaluative and generative user research: Select methods and scope, plan protocol and script, schedule and conduct research, analyze findings to inform product decisions.
• Lead design exploration around possible solutions, and work cross-functionally to define high-quality, end-to-end experiences within a product line.
• Develop alignment around and ensure quality of developed solutions: Conduct low-fidelity exploration, create detailed artifacts (prototypes, specs) supporting product development, and review in-development experiences to meet visual and interaction expectations.
• Lead ongoing systems work related to your domain, including accessibility and usage of/contribution to EVERFI’s design system.

Qualifications 

• 4+ years of related UX design experience
• Expertise in interface design tools (we use Figma)
• Understanding of best practices around UX research, information architecture, interaction design, accessibility, inclusive design, agile product development.
