In this role, you will:

  • Identify and develop client portfolio

  • Customer relationship management, existing and new

  • Generate revenue against targets

  • Work with sales, operations, and management in the greater Maersk organization to expand existing client service offerings

  • Aid in proposal production

  • Aid in pricing development

  • Stakeholder management: Procurement, Customer Service, Commercial Sales, Government Agencies and Contractors, Foreign Governments, Vertical specific vendors.

What you bring:

  • Government & Defense industry knowledge (5+ years)

  • Selling and solutioning core technical logistics and transportation service offerings.

  • Financial & pricing acumen

  • Indepth understanding of local (geo-scope) industry market trends

  • Solid understanding of customer industry needs & requirements for Government & Defense

  • Well-developed stakeholder management and influencing skills.

  • Strong understanding of commercial solution sales process.

  • Understanding of freight forwarding (air/sea/land)

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems

  • Strong leadership qualities

  • Willingness and desire to grow within the Maersk organization

  • Works well on your own and within teams

  • Able to drive strong business growth

  • Working with multiple product and digital solution types

  • Manage multiple customers and activities

  • Able to perform remotely

  • Domestic and international travel

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $140,000-150,000 USD*

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.

*The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors, such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
