Your missions

The HRIS Manager is a hands-on role, primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of the Workday system, with a particular emphasis on integrations and project management. This role entails maintenance, refinement, and support of the Workday system, and is ideal for someone who enjoys tactical execution, possesses a strong aptitude for project management, and is excited to lead a small, global team.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administer and maintain Workday HCM, focusing on system enhancements, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Oversee JIRA tickets, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate project assignments.
  • Lead and participate in the review, testing, and implementation of Workday releases, and communicate the potential benefits of new features to stakeholders.
  • Drive the Workday Roadmap, bringing measurable improvements through automation of business requirements, reducing process cycle times, and improving the employee experience.
  • Drive and lead new integration projects while supporting the resolution integration issues, execute ad hoc data requests and uploads, implement change requests, and develop reports as needed.
  • Develop and present metrics on improvement efforts, showcasing project success and areas for further development.
  • Manage and participate in HR technology maintenance, implementation, and improvement projects.
  • Lead projects to implement and manage specific technology solutions that make a significant impact on the organization.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of HR systems and processes.
  • Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously
  • Provide leadership, coaching, development, and mentoring for a small team of HRIS Analysts to effectively manage HRIS operations, implementing and executing best practices.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant business or technical discipline.
  • Certification required: Workday Pro Integrations Administration
  • 5-7 years of recent experience with the Workday product suite is required.
  • Strong project management and quality testing skills are essential.
  • 3-5 years of general HR experience with an emphasis on HR Systems/Operations in a fast-paced tech company is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing Workday HCM with a strong understanding of Talent/Compensation Workday applications, including security.
  • Deep Workday knowledge and vendor or consultant management experience is crucial.
  • Experience successfully managing HRIS systems implementations; multiple implementation experiences are highly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to explain systems and solutions in simple terms to stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working on own initiative with limited supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple, high-priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Goal and solutions oriented with a bias towards taking action.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity with the ability to be agile around rapid change.
  • Previous experience participating in system assessments and implementations, including project management and change management.
  • Working and broad knowledge of HR processes, concepts, and practices.
  • Collaborative, able to listen and solicit all perspectives.
