Your missions

About the Role
As an Innovation Manager on the Innovation and Platform Operations (IPO) Team, you will lead and oversee strategic digital projects that align with our business objectives. Your focus will be on evaluating the initiative rationale, ensuring it delivers substantial business and customer value, and prioritizing those initiatives within the broader roadmap.

You will collaborate with strategic leaders and technically inclined Product and Development teams, translating business requirements into projects with a vision towards Old Navy’s longterm planning. This role requires excellent strategic thinking, emphasizing the WHY behind initiatives, and communicating business and customer values equally to project teams and stakeholders alike.

"Leading Without Authority" will be crucial for rallying business partners, third-party vendors, and customer insights into cohesive project plans. You will provide brand-led, business-focused direction to lead innovations from concept to execution.

We seek a customer-curious, collaborative, and motivated strategic thinker to join our team. Supported by partners driving digital transformation through Design Thinking, you will help deliver superior customer-centric experiences. This role reports to the Director, Innovation Management.

    • Ensure that efforts align with the company’s overall strategy

  • Project Management
    • Leading and managing projects from thought to action to support
    • Developing initiative roadmaps and testing plans
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Create clarity through effective communication and presentation skills
    • Manage business relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
    • Build effective and productive relationships across the business and work with accountability and integrity
  • Innovation and Improvement
    • Lead and improve innovation processes including roadmap development, business case development, validation, testing and benchmarking, approval gates, and SOP’s
    • Supporting a high level of internal knowledge and awareness of digital strategies through continuous training and innovation initiatives
    • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies while bringing new ideas to the table
  • Data-Drive Decision Making
    • Demonstrate a track record of creating measurable, goal-oriented solutions
    • Exhibit Lead Without Authority mindset, and empowered to make data driven decisions
    • Establishing qualitative and quantitative research process
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field

  • In lieu of bachelor's degree, equivalent years of experience and proven track record in

  • closely related fields will be considered

  • 2+ years of experience in digital strategy or related experience

  • Strong project management and leadership skills

  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing digital initiatives focused in

  • eCommerce

  • Proven understanding of Agile and Design Thinking process, tools and best practices

  • preferred

  • Experience with digital marketing tools, Analytics platforms, Project Management

  • (JIRA/Confluence), Microsoft Suite, Miro

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in a strategic role, product or experience design, or similar role (Preferred)

  • Problem-spotting AND Problem-solving aptitude

  • Strong organizational and collaborative abilities

  • Strong analytical and creative thinking skills

  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
