The Opportunity

Adobe Consulting is seeking an expert Technical Architect to join our outstanding team. Work with a top team on highly visible projects across industries and verticals and grow with a robust system of support and enablement.

What you'll Do
  • Proactively maintain the highest level of technical expertise by knowing the latest on Adobe Marketing Cloud technologies and solutions through internally and externally available learning opportunities as well as self-study
  • Be a recognized expert in Adobe Experience Manager
  • Lead large, multi-solution consulting engagements with Adobe clients and partners
  • Leverage hands-on technical and product skills, as well as digital marketing business acumen, in crafting the solution architecture, in partnership with one or more solution experts
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with our clients & partners
  • Lead multiple client engagements simultaneously
  • Take leadership during project discovery and delivery in collaboration with Delivery Managers and Project Managers
  • Effectively analyze sophisticated project issues, develop solution options, and facilitate the presentation and review of the options and our recommendation with the clients
  • Work on own initiative without need for direction for most consulting activities
  • Develop and cultivate technical expertise to confidently lead large teams of experts from Adobe or partner organizations
  • Participate within the Adobe technical community to develop and share best practices and processes
  • Provide thought leadership to the team and wider consulting community helping to set future strategic direction
  • Foster teamwork among consultants and cross functional teams
  • Experience and willingness to work onsite at the customers for significant amount of time.
What you need to succeed
  • 13+ Years of proven experience in Java and Web technology, preferably with implementation experience of AEM as a content management system
  • Experience working with content platforms
  • Good presentation, and interpersonal skills both verbal and written in English
  • Solid team player and ability to build a sense of team with colleagues, partners and customers
  • Experience of whole project lifecycle. Able to estimate and implement tasks throughout the lifecycle including architecture, design, and development
  • Understanding of architectural concepts including performance and capacity planning, network/infrastructure planning, security architecture, and systems integration
  • Able to articulate business solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Adapt to and work effectively with a variety of clients and in challenging situations, establishing credibility and trust quickly
  • Able to work as the sole consultant in technical engagements
  • Disciplined and responsible professional – needs to represent Adobe on customer projects and take ownership of solutions
  • Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple customers and/or engagements
  • Be experienced in delivering end to end enterprise software development projects
  • Be experienced in consulting with enterprise engagements and clients
  • Preferably a degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Willingness to travel 50% on average
