Requirements...

  • Demonstrated programming expertise, Python preferred and preferably using the Boto3 Python library
  • Hands on experience in cloud application development (e.g. PaaS, Serverless, API Management)
  • Experience using integrated development environments targeting Linux, Windows, public clouds (i.e. Azure, AWS)
  • Hands on development experience with AWS including : Lambda, Cloudfront, S3, EC2, Cloudwatch
  • Knowledge of the security features of the Microsoft 365 platform, such as hybrid identity solution, endpoint protection and information protection. 
  • Experience supporting M365 suite of applications and knowledge of domain and mail routing.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Zero Trust principles in general and how they apply to the M365 platform. 
  • Experience in  with AWS technologies, and migrations from on-prem to AWS AWS cloud technology knowledge and implementation experience
  • Experience with IAM policy and IAM permission least privilege.
  • Continuous integration technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure for DevOps, Chef, Puppet);
  • Web application server technologies, cloud application design, software architecture and practices; (design/development/deployment, Agile, SCRUM, ALM)
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e. Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers and Infra as a code technologies)
Requirements

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting DHS Agencies.
  • Software development practices like DevOps , DevSecOPs and CI/CD tool chains (i.e. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, GitHub).
  • Familiarity with MDM platforms such as Intune, Jamf, Workspace ONE etc.
  • Ability to demonstrate and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to clearly communicate with both customers and teammates and provide recommendations for improvements to existing software applications
  • Experience working in an agile development environment 

Years of Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in engineering, developing and deploying IT systems. At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Engineer on the Cloud (AWS / Azure/ M265) platform of services

Education:

Master’s degree in a technical discipline desired. Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is required

Certifications: 

  • AWS Certified Developer – Associate Or  AWS Certified DevOPS engineer Certification
  • Any other M365/Azure role-based security certifications, such as: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Management Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator are a plus.
