Your missions

Job Description

As a Fleet Cyber Security Officer (Junior) you are part of Fleet Services (FS) and work closely together with the Fleet Cyber Security Officer, FS office personnel, the vessel crew, task teams and key external relations e.g. IT, Global Security, governmental / legislative bodies and vendors.

In this role you are responsible to ensure Information and Operational technologies are secure and compliant (both in the office and on vessels) to reduce business risk by developing and implementing changes to policies, procedures, response plans, recovery plans and systems.

Your role

  • You ensure that IT services, solutions and assets comply with Fugro and international legislative/regulatory requirements;
  • You perform Cyber Security Audits for FS, discuss compliance and audit findings with management, share relevant risk analysis and develop action plans to address them and drive remediation activities across the organisation;
  • You drive education and increase Cyber Security awareness, provide risk advice and collaborate with Security Operations Centre, Marine IT and Local IT to high priority incidents and capture lessons learned;
  • You work on supply chain and other cyber risk assessments;
  • You will be collaborating with stakeholders across all functions within all regions;
  • You support the business within the process regarding cyber security related aspects, support within the cyber security auditing process (internal and external) and other related cyber security assessments;
  • If necessary you are willing to travel occasionally;
  • You work on maintaining the Ship Cyber Security Plan.

Your track record

  • You have a Bachelor degree in a IT related discipline;
  • You have a minimum of 1-3 years previous working experience preferably in e.g. Information Technology, Operational Technology and Network & IT Infrastructure and/or shipping;
  • You strive for success, know how to build strong relationships and are experienced with supporting both internal and external clients;
  • You take ownership and initiative, acting with confidence, with the ability to make prompt and clear decisions with appropriate urgency whilst always considering others perspective;
  • Previous experience in the maritime industry is a plus;
  • You have excellent communication and reporting skills in English (verbal and written);
  • You have knowledge on Information Security standards, such as  ISO 27001, IACS UR E26/E27, NIST and relevant legal compliance aspect;
  • Information Security certifications such as CISM, CISSP or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are seen as a plus;
  • You have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken;
  • Having experience working with auditors and IT Risk and Security governance is seen as a plus.
