Description

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who loves translating business needs into actionable technical solutions? We are seeking a skilled Technical Solutions Analyst to join our dynamic Product Engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to shape our software solutions and ensure they meet high standards of excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate Needs into Specs: Use your technical expertise to convert business requirements into detailed engineering specifications.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work with Technical Product Owners, Product Managers, and Engineers to ensure solutions align with business goals and acceptance criteria.
  • Create Documentation: Develop User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Data/Process Flow Diagrams, and other essential technical documents.
  • Analyze Solutions: Evaluate both in-house and third-party software to determine how new technologies can be integrated or deployed.
  • Maintain Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on application functionality and business workflows within your product area.
  • Engage in Agile Practices: Participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, refinement, release planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Support Production Requests: Lead the triage process for incoming production support requests.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (7+ years in software development).
  • Experience: At least 3 years of recent experience writing User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and related technical details in an Agile setting.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in web application, database, and API design. Familiarity with Postman or Swagger for API interactions and proficiency in T-SQL for database queries.
  • Tools Knowledge: Experience with JIRA and Confluence for managing Agile projects, Lucid (or similar) for data/process flows, and Figma for UI designs.
  • Advanced Skills: Proficiency with O365 tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and a professional, approachable demeanor.
  • Global Collaboration: Experience working with both onshore and offshore development teams.
  • Problem Solver: Creative and innovative in finding solutions and improving processes.
  • Effective Communicator: Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage stakeholders across the organization.
