Job Description

The VEV OTA test engineer will perform either static or dynamic evaluation of all the electric features offered in all NA carlines across the board from the customer perspective before and after software over the air deployments

The VEV OTA test engineer will lead other engineers to complete test on time, will rise, document and follow up issues in Jira

Responsibilities

The VEV OTA tester is responsible to test all electric features for the carlines offered in North America trying to identify malfunctions or dissatisfactory performance issues from the final customer perspective, once identified issues will be documented followed and tracked. based on the results of the evaluations engineer will be responsible to provide sign off on the software tested.

Qualifications

1 Driving testing vehicles

2 High and Low Voltage Automotive Systems

3 Vehicle electrical architectures

4 Computer savvy

5 Programming languages

6 Communication protocols (CAN , Ethernet, Lin)

7 Understanding of electrical features multi module

8 Knowledge about Cloud or Internet connectivity features

9 Jira System for issues tracking experience
