Today we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Audit, Senior Manager for our client in NYC, their specializing in the technology and professional services sectors. You'll be joining their dynamic and growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the audit process for technology and services clients (including professional services, pr advertising and digital media, etc), ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. You will need to have a strong background in auditing, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the technology and professional services industries.

You will also need to have strong leadership skills in developing and overseeing audit teams and building strong relationships with clients.

As an Audit Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and execute audit engagements for technology and professional services clients.
  • Develop comprehensive audit plans, including risk assessment, and audit objectives.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information and documents for the audit process.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, regulations, and developments in the technology and services sectors.
  • Apply industry-specific knowledge to assess clients' business processes, risks, and controls effectively.
  • Conduct detailed audit testing and document findings.
  • Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of audit professionals.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the audit process.
  • Review workpapers and reports prepared by audit team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology and services clients.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to clients.
  • Address client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports, highlighting findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop action plans based on audit results.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.


Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in auditing, with a focus on technology and professional services clients.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations, accounting principles, and auditing standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.


Compensation:

  • Competitive annual salary in the range of $160,000 to $220,000, based on individuals experience level.
