We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team at ProGlove, a leading provider of wearable technology solutions. In this role, you will be contributing to our next generation products and accessories, as well as support changes and issues in our existing product portfolio.

Your mission...   
As Electrical Engineer (Electronics), you will play a key role in developing our next generation scanners. You will ensure the successful development of electrical components for scanners, accessories and sub-systems, from concept evaluation to final implementation. 

Your day-to-day will also consist of mainly these topics:   

• Developing electronics for our wearable, battery powered scanners and accessories. 
• Perform feasibility studies on design concepts. 
• Design schematics and PCBs using Altium Designer, perform the HW bring-up, and test those designs on the bench.  
• Define requirements and verification methods for the designs in conjunction with the Product and HW Test teams.  
• Ensure completeness of your design documentation, adequate prototype and production test coverage, and suitable risk mitigation within projects. 
• Assess, implement, and test design changes as part of sustaining activities.

As our ideal candidate for this role, you come with the following skills and competencies:

• You are a strong communicator who enjoys keeping others informed.  
• You have 4+ years product development experience.  
• You have a degree in Electrical (Electronics) Engineering or an equivalent field.  
• You are fluent in schematic and PCB design using Altium Designer to develop EMC compliant flex, HDI, and multilayer PCBs. 
• You like to get your hands dirty debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other lab equipment.  
• You have experience designing with MCUs, MPUs, flex PCBs, Li-ion batteries, MIPI, SPI, UART, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. 
• You have experience working across the product lifecycle, from concept through to production and beyond.  
• You are business fluent in English.
