Job Description

We are seeking someone with a passion for building infrastructure and platform services that enable and accelerate software development teams against a backdrop of complex compliance and governance. As a key player in our product development process, you will drive the success of our products by collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You will define and prioritize features, creating user stories, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

You will report to the Director, Server an Storage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product backlog refinement process, ensuring that user stories are well-defined and prioritized based on business value.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Work closely with development teams in an Agile environment, providing guidance and clarifications on user stories during sprints.
  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and goals to the development team.
  • Conduct regular sprint reviews and retrospectives to continuously improve the development process.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, balancing the needs of stakeholders with the capabilities of the development team.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, driving for continuous improvement-better outcomes with the software development team and stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of proven hands-on work experience as a Product Owner in an Agile development environment.
  • Additional certification in Agile or Product Management is beneficial.
  • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • 4+ years of experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices; Understanding of automation, continuous integration-continuous deployment (CI-CD) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Understanding of infrastructure technologies: familiarity with networking, cloud services, virtualization, storage, and server technologies.
  • Analytical with a focus on delivering high-quality products.
  • Ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with product analytics and data-driven decision-making.
