A Day in the Life

Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) is one of the largest businesses in Medtronic, with a long history of innovation and commitment to serve patients with most effective and appropriate solutions – Cardiovascular Diagnostics & Services (CDS) is the fastest growing business inside CRM portfolio and represents the diagnostic soul of entire CRM business – the mission is helping patients and physicians to find the right diagnosis to develop the most appropriate therapeutical plan for every patient.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Establish deep expertise on the target Cardiac Diagnostic pathways across the different Italian regions and ensures this expertise is integrated into the market access strategy of different regions/accounts.
  • Conduct market analyses to maintain an appropriate level of understanding of health care financing, organization, systems and standards for care delivery, developing insights that can help improve market access programs with colleagues and customer budget owners.
  • Interact directly with Market dev sales reps on the Italian territory to ensure proper plan are executed (creation of KPIs to be monitored) and support is ensured to further develop and customize patient pathways based on customer needs.
  • Interact directly with product and market dev managers/specialists at national and HQ level to customize the value proposition for the different target audience and specific national needs.
  • Continuous optimization of the customer experience, establishing metrics that can help measure the engagement of the customer segment where possible.
  • Interact directly with product managers to customize the value proposition for the different target audience.
  • Provide internal and external training on key market development topics in line with the communication strategy for the different segments and customers.


Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • At least 5 years’ field experience in a healthcare environment at a medical device or pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.
  • Postgraduate degree in Economics, Marketing, Health Economics, Engineering or Life Science.
  • Experience with strategic market development implementation.
  • Experience with customers segmentation analysis and KOLs management.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) language. 
  • Based in Northern Italy
  • Available to travel across the Country up to 80%.


Experience in cardiac diseases as well as expertise in clinical marketing and good knowledge of healthcare system in Italy is desirable.
