We're looking for an experienced and driven individual to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in managing and resolving complex loan situations, contributing to our mission of providing top-notch financial services.   • Manage Problem Loans: Collaborate with the SVP/SBA Audit & Special Assets Manager to address and mitigate risks related to problem loans, foreclosures, and litigation.
  • Oversee Loan Collections: Handle the collection, negotiation, and resolution of past due loan payments for our SBA portfolio, ensuring compliance with SBA and bank regulations.
  • Review and Monitor: Conduct thorough reviews of SBA Annual Reviews, including property value research, financial and credit analysis, and risk assessment. Work with customers to resolve issues and ensure timely loan repayment.
  • Ensure Timely Disbursements: Oversee PIP disbursements for the SBA portfolio, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulations.
  • Audit Problematic Loans: Perform comprehensive audits on problematic loans and address issues in accordance with SBA and bank policies.
  • Prepare Documentation: Gather and organize data for SBA 10-Tab submissions and assist in reviewing legal notices related to the SBA portfolio.
  • Address Portfolio Issues: Handle lien perfection and other portfolio issues as needed. Monitor and resolve past due taxes and force-placed insurance.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Skip trace to obtain valid customer contact information and ensure the accuracy of SBA portfolio address details.
  • Report and Communicate: Manage and dispatch timely correspondence and reports. Provide detailed reports on special asset efforts and discuss portfolio recommendations with management.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all special asset processes, procedures, and regulations to protect customer loans, collateral, bank assets, and staff.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in SBA lending, commercial lending, or a similar field. Strong background in special assets, financial analysis, or credit review is essential.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate, and consumer loan products, as well as state and federal lending regulations. Familiarity with title policies, RESPA, HMDA, and other related regulations is required.
  • Attributes: Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability to change, and a proactive, goal-oriented mindset.
