Staff Accountant - Healthcare Technology (Contract-to-Hire)

Are you detail-oriented and motivated? We're seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in managing our financial processes. In this role, you'll help ensure accurate financial reporting, support various accounting functions, and contribute to our company's growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Perform financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making and business operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and assist with financial planning and analysis.
• Aid in the preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
• Support audit processes and provide necessary documentation.
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally within the healthcare or technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for collaborating effectively across teams.
• Experience with medical or healthcare billing is a plus.
