Lead Technical Project Manager - Agile & Data Engineering

Are you passionate about leading technical projects and fostering team collaboration? We're looking for a skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team in a fully remote role. As a key player, you will guide your team through Agile-based processes, ensuring quality delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other Technical Project Managers to support data development and delivery.
• Oversee the work-intake triage process to address new requests in line with SLAs.
• Set up and maintain Programs, Epics, and Stories in Jira to manage team tasks from start to finish.
• Define project delivery commitments and assess impacts due to changing priorities and resources.
• Coordinate dependencies between teams and other Scrum Masters.
• Track and report team velocity, manage Sprint capacity, and ensure the team meets Sprint goals efficiently.
• Resolve or escalate any blocking impediments as needed.
• Organize and facilitate key meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint demos, retrospectives, and other process meetings.
• Coordinate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve production support issues, especially those impacting customers.
• Work with Development Managers to manage team capacity effectively.
• Coach the development team and stakeholders on best practices and Data Org processes, recommending improvements as necessary.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical PM or Scrum Master, ideally in complex, technically challenging environments.
• Proven experience managing multiple global Scrum teams.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience supporting technical Agile data engineering and platform projects in a cloud-based environment.
• Strong team player with excellent influencing and negotiating skills, and the ability to understand and communicate technical issues effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, BI, Analytics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Scrum Master/Agile certification.
