Job Purpose

Your primary focus will be driving the team towards achieving measurable outcomes aligned with the company's goals. You will lead the team by executing strategic initiatives, empowering employees, and ensuring they are aligned with organizational objectives. Key responsibilities include performance management, providing consistent feedback, supporting professional development, and guiding the team in making informed decisions regarding client accounts. Additionally, you will foster long-term client relationships, proactively engage with clients, and manage key metrics to ensure low attrition, contributing to the overall success and growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the Accounting Services team while upholding company values and principles.
  • Train team members to meet expectations, achieve goals, and invest in their personal and professional growth.
  • Strategically enhance client engagement and lead impactful meetings to drive results.
  • Collaborate on company-wide initiatives and contribute valuable insights on resources, technologies, and best practices.
  • Assist in hiring and training new team members.
  • Partner with the Director on projects and department initiatives.
  • Provide regular feedback, coaching, and professional development through one-on-one meetings and the HR platform.

Operational Leadership

  • Meet company-driven attrition goals by focusing on client satisfaction, engagement growth, and retention.
  • Review ongoing client satisfaction surveys, provide coaching, and ensure successful client/contractor engagements.
  • Provide insights and recommend necessary changes in processes, systems, and services as the business evolves.

Qualifications

We seek individuals who are relational, humble, and intuitive, with a solid understanding of virtual work environments and client service. Successful candidates will have a clear grasp of general ledger functions, accounts receivable/accounts payable processes, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail while being organizationally and technologically proficient. Coaching for relational and operational efficiency will be key aspects of this role.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience as a Client Success Consultant is preferred but not required.
  • Driven self-starter with a positive attitude, loyalty, and trustworthiness.
  • Flexibility, creativity, self-discipline, and strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a willingness to take on tasks and projects as needed.
  • High degree of autonomy and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, remote position. A dedicated, secure workspace free from distractions is essential. Our standard business hours are Monday-Friday, with occasional travel required for some roles.
