Your Impact in This Role

In this role, you will report to the Director of Acquisition & Web and play a key role in driving conversions and revenue through a comprehensive SEO strategy. Your focus will be on optimizing both technical and on-page elements to increase brand visibility and attract high-quality traffic. You will analyze performance data to identify growth opportunities and ensure we rank highly for critical search terms.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Keyword and Content Strategy

Lead the development and execution of keyword and content strategies for organic search. Identify areas for improvement, build a strategic roadmap, and implement initiatives to drive traffic and conversions.

  • Technical Optimizations

Oversee the overall health and performance of our website. Conduct regular audits to ensure our site remains optimized for search engines and user experience.

  • Data and Analysis

Track and report on key performance indicators related to organic search and overall growth. Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports highlighting the impact on key business metrics, such as revenue. Share insights and learnings with leadership and stakeholders.

  • Project Management and Collaboration

Drive all SEO-related initiatives from ideation to execution. Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Content, and Website teams to implement projects, measure impact, and determine future actions.

Desired Traits

  • A degree in marketing, business, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in SEO.
  • SEO certifications are a plus; experience with SEO tools and knowledge of HTML and CSS are preferred.
  • Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with the latest digital marketing and SEO trends.
  • A balanced approach to data analysis and creative problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and tell compelling stories based on the numbers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation abilities.
  • Adaptability and comfort in a fast-paced, startup environment where you can wear multiple hats.
  • Agility in navigating ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • A passion for continuous learning and improvement, with a focus on speed and iteration.
  • A collaborative spirit, willing to share expertise and learn from team members.

Tools and Technologies

Experience building insightful and actionable dashboards and reports using tools such as GA4, GTM, GSC, Looker Studio, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Hotjar, and WordPress.

Physical Demands

Compensation And Benefits

  • Salary range: \(135,000 to \)156,000 per year, depending on experience.
