We are looking for a full stack Senior Developer to join a skilled development squad. You will be joining a department of 70+ engineers across 8 squads, each with ownership for specific domains within our flagship SaaS based enterprise architecture product, OrbusINFINITY. Application components are built to run natively in Microsoft Azure, across a tech stack utilizing C# .Net 6, React, Typescript, CosmosDB, SQL, Containers and Kubernetes, with a Micro-frontend and Microservice architecture, continuously deployed to a multiregional highly available infrastructure. Public REST APIs make our platform the hub for numerous integrations to external services and applications.
As part of the role, you will work closely within your squad with other full stack Developers, Automation QAs, a dedicated Product Owner and Scrum Master, to ensure that high quality solutions are produced to solve real user problems. As a Senior you will be engaged early in the problem discovery phases of product development, to provide input on potential solutions, their feasibility, and their architectural design.
We operate Scrum for day-to-day development activities, wrapped with quarterly strategic planning to set the vision and goals for the coming quarter. We follow leading development practices, incorporating TDD, automated CI/CD, a “shift-left” testing mindset and a focus on producing S.O.L.I.D maintainable code that can be released quickly and to a high quality. To assist with this, we have a comprehensive DevOps process with dedicated teams responsible for assisting squads with build and release processes using Azure DevOps, Git and Azure. We have various Communities of Practice (Guilds) covering such areas as architecture, quality, agile practices, and DevOps, which you will be involved with.

Our projects use cutting edge technology, and as such we encourage our developers stay ahead of current trends and best practices. Ideally, we’d like a candidate that reflects this, with a keen interest in the latest trends and technologies. We have regular cross skillset and cross portfolio knowledge sharing events (Brown Bag Lunches), so would like a candidate that can be actively involved in this culture as well. The role is fully remote, with some office time required during onboarding along with the rest of the team to get some face time both in the office and socially. There are also in-person quarterly events that all squads across the department and all regions gather for, which helps us align and bond to make a great development team.
Core Responsibilities:
Working in a Scrum Squad of 4 other Developers and 2 Automation QAs
Collaborating with the Product Owner and Squad to refine Features, Stories and Acceptance Criteria
Working with C#, .Net Core in an Azure Microservice environment
Working with multiple React, Micro-frontend web applications
Formulating solutions to technically challenging requirements
Adhering to existing coding standards and practices, and working with other technical leads to continuously improve these
Partaking in a culture of code reviewing and collaboration
Attending squad meetings such as daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, Planning, Refinements, and technical discussions
